About Salmonella

Healthy people should look out for the following symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever. In rare cases, salmonella can cause arterial infections, endocarditis, arthritis, muscle pain, eye irritation and urinary tract symptoms. Should you be experiencing any of these symptoms, contact your physician.

Pets who have salmonella infections may be lethargic, have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Some pets will only experience a decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain. If your pet has consumed the product and is experiencing any of these symptoms, contact your veterinarian right away.

If you have any more questions about the recall, call Nature’s Variety at 888-519-7387 from 8 am to 7 pm CT, 7 days a week during the recall. You may also email the company.
