You can always take your dog to a pet bakery. Pet bakeries are more common in big cities than in small towns. However if you have one, you will find home-baked treats that often have healthy, organic ingredients. Your dog will enjoy being pampered in such a yummy way. You can even shop for his birthday cake if it is that time of the year.

Take him out to the ballgame! In many major cities, major league baseball has opened up its schedule to include dogs. Sometimes named “Bark in the Park,” these baseball games are a fun way to enjoy a sporting event with your dog. Some stadiums even donate their profits from these events to local animal shelters.

If you have a drive-in theater in your town, what a great place to take your dog? Most drive-in theaters allow you to bring your pets as long as you keep them on a leash and pick up after them. Be sure to keep him comfy by giving him a dog bed, water bowl and treats.
